No Waiting in Line with Shopify Plus​

Founded in 1996, US Weight sells tractor wheel weights, suitcase weights, tiller weights, umbrella bases, canopy weights, along with a line of crowd control and plastic chain products for use as visual safety barriers.

Following parent company Escalade Sports‘ migration to Shopify Plus, US Weight was the 12th brand in queue to be moved to Escalade’s multi-site Shopify framework. The platform’s multi-brand support significantly reduces time to market for new site launches like US Weight, as well as quickly allows brands to migrate and adopt backend systems and integrations.

US Weight engaged CQL’s design and content services to update imagery and global styles prior to its store setup, development, and launch. In less than 3 months, US Weight was migrated from an old, custom site onto Shopify Plus using Escalade Sports’ framework.

While US Weight sells to a wide variety of customers including Wal-Mart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Uline, Amazon, John Deere, MTD and Kubota; the new Shopify platform allows US Weight to expand its direct to consumer (D2C) business and provide a robust framework for future brand growth.

US Weight is owned and managed by Escalade Sports. The CQL and Escalade teams architected a repeatable model on Shopify Plus that supports an entire portfolio of Escalade Sports equipment brands, including Bear Archery, Woodplay, Fowling, STIGA, Lifeline Fitness, Onix Pickleball, Goalsetter, American Heritage Billiards, GoalrillaRAVE Sports, and more. 

The repeatable framework on Shopify Plus allows brands like US Weight to migrate in under 3 months with a new design, global styles, content and backend integrations.
