If your business is testing and measurement equipment, you care a lot about accuracy. In every aspect of your day you work hard to ensure all your tools are calibrated. So it is to be expected that this discipline includes how you generate and capture sales leads.
That is why when Protec Equipment set out to re-platform their website, they chose CQL and tasked us with creating a tight integration between inbound marketing, Hubspot and lead management. The result? Crisp, clean design, to-the-point messaging and integrated measures to ensure that Protec was responding to their customers.
Hubspot provides tremendous inbound, outbound and analytic tools for marketing and sales, but its success depends on tight integration with e-stores and campaigns. Protec chose Hubspot because it is a “non-coder” toolset that enables a marketing team to focus on the campaigns and targets, not the technical learning curve.
This is why, when given the task, we determined that the best tool for Protec was our custom GoCommerce platform built on Google’s open source Go Language (golang). This technology was chosen because our customer's team was not comprised of ‘ecommerce experts’ but rather, ‘electrical testing and measurement experts’.
The Go Commerce platform provides very light-weight technology that caters to the mobile-centric customers of Protec. An on-page editor gives novice ecommerce users a WYSIWYG editor that is more like power point than a cumbersome content manager.
It also gave us the ability to embed Hubspot tracking at the product level so that lead generation and customer service processes could be very targeted.
