As a world leader in the synthetic lubricant industry, Lubrizol wanted to couple their technical resources with a service-oriented lab process.
The goal was to easily share trend data with key accounts and OEMs, create lead management processes that tied test data with distributors, and develop new services for other’s products and ongoing service agreements.
Since the testing of oils and lubricants tells a lot about a compressor or pump’s performance, this project focused on rebuilding the lab management system and customer facing website into a platform that would improve proactive communications with customers and distributors.
Our software engineers had been working with a division of Lubrizol for years. It was this relationship that brought in our strategy and design team at the start of the project to help envision a way to innovate the customer experience.
Our envisioning process engaged Lubrizol’s team to define the core features and business targets. From there we created a tactical scope and identified business opportunities with a one, three and five-year roadmap.
