Mobile application delivers AutoCad drawings on iPad
2/90 Sign Systems, a 30 year old wayfinding and signage company came to CQL to help harness today’s technology to replace binders full of specifications and CAD files into a clean and concise customer friendly application. The result? SignCare+ — an iPad App tied to a .NET web application that integrates CAD floor plans, spreadsheets and the web. This dynamic mobile solution integrates customer documents into a seamless user experience, doing away with the need for confusing binders full of paper and intelligently tracking changes in a fluid environment.

When 2/90 Sign Systems came to CQL to move their labor intensive and paper driven “CAD file” sign management service to a mobile device. What would the device be? Would the application be a native app or a web app? What protocols should be followed taking into account their client base? How can you get a Cad File to load onto a mobile device?
