Software As A Service (A CQL Software Venture with IPS AdvisorPro)

As working financial advisors and founders of their own practices, Norm Boone and Linda Lubitz Boone (founders of IPS AdvisorPro®) worked with CQL to design a web-based tool to help advisors quickly and efficiently create and manage customized Investment Policy Statements (‘IPS’) for their clients. An IPS is a written document that explains the relationship between an investment advisor and a client. An IPS discusses the client’s goals, the investment procedures that will be followed by the advisors, the responsibilities of the client, and the responsibilities of the investment professional. An IPS is a roadmap that governs the behavior of an investment advisor and the client with regard to one or more investment portfolios.

Partnership

Norm Boone and Linda Lubitz (Boone) are well-respected within the financial advisor community, often called upon for speaking engagements, interviews and articles on issues within the financial services industry. The complexities of the software required Norm and Linda to partner with a development firm that had not only the database development expertise, but also a vision to see the long-term value in the product. IPS AdvisorPro and CQL formed a partnership to bring this online tool to fruition. The result is a very successful tool that helps advisors better serve their clients, and also a recognized recipient of Software Product of the Year.
