Vocallize™  Provides Emergency Warning System For Universities

Grand Rapids, Michigan – April 20, 2007 – The recent tragedy at Virginia Tech highlights a growing trend at colleges and universities to improve its Emergency Warning System for students, staff and local law enforcement. CQL, Inc., a leader in software development consulting services and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, works with these institutions to provide a comprehensive warning system, called Vocallize™.

Vocallize™ utilizes the latest technologies in speech services to provide a system by which warning messages or general information such as school closings can be sent via voice, text and email. With little more effort then typing an email, a message is immediately sent through the Vocallize™ system to its intended targets. These targets then receive a phone call where a voice message is delivered coupled with both a text message and an email. This provides the best opportunity to reach people no matter where they are located.

According to Informa Telecoms & Media, in 2005 there were more than two billion cell phone subscribers with that number expected to increase dramatically. “The widespread acceptance and availability of cell phones coupled with land lines make the Vocallize™ system a logical choice for businesses and schools who have an immediate need to reach its constituents,” stated Mark Lardieri, President of CQL. “We need to embrace the latest trends in technology and media to ensure we build systems to help our clients achieve their goals – especially the ability to connect at critical times.”

CQL grew more than 30% in 2006, and plans an even greater expansion in 2007. They continue to hire for a variety of technology development positions, and prospective employees who are interested in sharing their resume should contact CQL at hr@cqlcorp.com
