Network Operations Center
CQL monitors its data center 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week, to insure that CQL customers receive service
consistent with the industry and contractual standards.
CQL’s Network Operations Center (NOC), located
in Grand Rapids, MI, manages the Data Center Facility
as well as all customers located within the Data Center.
Password Protection
Data Center customer passwords are stored and transmitted
in encrypted format at all times. Data is housed in
CQL’s secure hosting facility, which provides
enhanced physical security, fire protection and electronic
shielding.
For application protection, users must log-on using
a combination of department and user identifiers as
well as their encrypted password. Department administrators
have the option to force password changes for users
by a specified number of days. There are user groups
set up by each department to limit internal department
access to customer accounts. All calls to the database
validate the department before performing queries or
procedures.
Site SSL Protection
The Secure Sockets Layer protects data transferred over
http using encryption enabled by a server’s SSL
Certificate. All Data Center customers are located on
a secured domain, which enables a secure session that
guarantees privacy and data integrity.
Physical Security Measures
CQL has established a secure hosting environment on-site,
where security personnel monitor the facility 24 hours
a day. Access to servers requires multiple levels of
authentication.
Audits and Inspections
The security infrastructure is regularly audited and
inspected by industry-leading third party auditors and
security experts.
Managed Firewall
CQL’s Managed Firewall Solution CQL utilizes a
GTA firewall to protect Data Center customers, and to
supervise and prevent unauthorized users from gaining
access to the application.
Managed Security features offered by CQL include:

to eliminate lost sessions for users.

- Expert installation, implementation and operation.
- 24/7/365 system management, including operations,
administration and maintenance.

E-mail Hosting
CQL’s E-Mail service utilizes Rockliffe Mailsite
E-Mail software, which is a full-feature POP3 E-mail
service with optional SPAM filtering, Virus Scanning
and a web based e-mail client for traveling or remote
users.
Managed Monitoring Services
All Data Center customers’ servers within CQL
receive basic monitoring as part of their account. Our
basic monitoring provides a comprehensive suite of performance
and utilization monitoring services to allow all Data
Center customers to plan for future needs.
Online Management Reports
CQL offers online management reports to all Data Center
customers. These reports show statistics and analysis
on the Data Center customers’ servers. These reports
detect potential problems not identified through our
basic monitoring technologies, and CQL Data Center customers
receive performance reports and graphs to assist them
in making important strategic decisions on how to handle
current and future growth.

CQL monitors the Data Center customers’ servers
24 x 7 x 365 to insure that Data Center customers’
servers are available and working around the clock.
DNS
CQL understands the critical need for reliable primary
and secondary DNS services. CQL offers multiple and
single DNS services based on CQL Data Center customers’
