Software Architect:
Position Requirements:
- Provide technical direction and leadership in the
architecture, design, development, and deployment of .NET
solutions
- Possess deep and broad technical skills in .NET and
related MS technologies/products as well as solid
architecture and design skills
- Work directly with customer IT to define and scope
strategic .NET implementations
- Provide direction, instruction, and understanding around
complex .NET concepts to customers and their technology
personnel
- Work with business development during project
envisioning to properly characterize technical alternatives
and scope opportunities
- Possess excellent presentation skills to concisely
design, articulate and present to decision makers within the
industry
- The ideal candidate will have an advanced level of
knowledge in three or more of the following areas:
- .NET Frameworks,
- C#,
- ASP.NET,
- SQL,
- XML Technologies and Web Services.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Win2003
Server Family, SQL Server 2000/2005 Family, BizTalk Server
2004, SharePoint Portal Server 2003, CMS, Office Systems,
ASP, COM+, VB, TCP/IP and general networking and Active
Directory is required.
- The candidate should have a BS/BA degree or equivalent
work experience (certification a plus)
- Experience with emerging Microsoft technologies such as
LINQ, MVC and Silverlight is a plus
- Exposure to Rich Internet Application user interfaces
(e.g. Flash, Flex, Silverlight) is a benefit
- Ability to work in Agile development environments
